Surgery

Important points in clinical examination in surgery:
- In any clinical examination in surgery we start with (WIPE) mnemonic which is acronym for the following (W= Wash your hands. I= Introduce yourself. P= Permission and Position. E= Exposure). This mnemonic will be explain in detail in the book.
- In any clinical examination you should come on the right side of the patient.
- Before you touch the patient you should ask the patient if he has any pain in the area that you want to examine. If you don’t do so you may face a big problem and some doctor consider this as a fatal mistake ( fatal mistake it mean that when the student did this mistake in one exam station the student will take zero in that station because of this mistake).
- At the end of examination you should thanks the patient and Cover him/her.
